I voted for the 3.7 cause it's bigger than the 3.5 and I wanted to skew the results!

Guys. I made the poll multi selection. You can pick more than one when you vote!

Why would anybody need to select more than one motor? Everybody knows the 3.7 is king!

Why we can contain all the engine debating to here now. No more ecoboost vs. 5.0.

Now new users can have their question answered through this poll. Numbers don't lie.

Because a bunch of truck enthusiasts (most with no more mechanical knowledge than changing oil) can make a credible assertion as to what is the best motor.... Lol. We know where this thread is headed.

Have towed my flatbed trailer loaded with my Kubota (about 9000 lbs total) with both the 5.0 and 3.5. Not even a close call as the 3.5 blew the 5.0 in the weeds pulling steep hills around here. Low end torque was what I needed which is exactly what the 3.5 delivers in large amounts.

If not for the towing requirement would have been happy with either engine...........

9000#!? I'd think you're closer to maybe 5000 at the most with that tractor and trailer combination. I'm only around 7K with my loaded New Holland TC35DA, with loader and boxblade, and my 7ton Maclander equipment trailer. I'm seeing a 7000# [gross], car hauler, and about 25 HP Kubota?
