Best brake kit?

I went with PowerStop rotors, EBC Green pads, Motul 600 fluid, and Crown stainless lines. Wouldn't change a thing, this truck'll stand you on your ear. I track-day'd it back in February, brakes never budged and took the abuse... and trust me, that's more abuse than 99% of people will ever put them through.

Powerstop Z36 kit here too. Slows down 13,000# like nothing.

Is it Friday Yet?

Also, in some cases it requires sending the old rotors to the manufacturer for inspection, which might take up to two weeks! (personal experience)
This is what the top of the line store brand looked like on my old Mustang after 10k and one Ohio winter, warped and pitted. Definitely not the best, and warranty claim was rejected.
Replaced them with a Raybestos set, 30k and two winters later, I sold the car and they were still looking and performing like new. Will definitely go with Raybestos again when it's time to replace any of the brakes.

Guys I need emergency front brake replacement. It appears my passenger side caliper was sticking and fried my inside pad with no squealing and in a matter of a few days. I want to get good stuff and not just run to the auto parts store for junk. Lately Raybestos appears to come highly recommended, looking at their Advanced Technology 680508 rotor vs their Police 680508P rotor. Any advice on the differences? Thinking of giving them a call. I like the full coating the the Police rotors come with since I live in rust country. Raybestos is also offering a new Enhanced Hybrid Technology pad, EHT1414H, a hybrid of semi-metallic and ceramic technology. My other local option is Centric rotors and Hawk LTS pads. Advanced Auto also offers a fully black coated Wearever Frontline Premium rotor which appears to get good reviews. Any thoughts on my options? Need to order asap.
Also, which loca parts places offer quality remanufactured calipers? I have Advanced Auto, Autozone, O'Reilly and Napa. All appear to cost about $70 after core and all look the same online, all day FoMoCo in them. I will also call my dealer and get their price.

When in doubt, go with Napa.

2014 STX Sport, New Power stop front brakes
So I have 36,000 on the truck and I do drive like an ***** but my passenger rotor looks the wrong color a few days ago. Remove tire and feel the back side of the rotor and it feels like a topical graphical map of Utah! Remove caliper, remove pads and wow... Outer pad looks like it should inside pad is down to the metal! I remove the pad bracket and, no clips between the bracket and the pad. No inner clips on either the driver or passenger side, pads and rotors are wrecked.
Replacement Brakes (only the front moneys tight-ish.)
Power Stop K3167 Front Z23 Evolution Brake Kit with Drilled/Slotted Rotors and Ceramic Brake Pads. $219.00
I also wire wheeled the brackets and calipers and painted them black with VHT high heat caliper paint. In the box was 2 Rotors with stickers indicating what side there installed on. 4 carbon fiber ceramic brake pads, also labeled inside and outside. 8 Brake bracket replacement clips. 4 rubber boots for the caliper pins. 1 package of thermal grease for the pins. Located on the brake pad box is the break in instructions. I had no issue installing, did the break in as soon as I finished. And we will see how they do.
Worn OEM pad after 36K.
Break in instructions.
Looks pretty nice all done.

How's she goin' eh?
I skimmed this thread even though it's a year old,
I took advantage of R1's labour day sale. Front and rear rotors with green stuff pads ran me $400 USd ($500 Can) I haven't picked them up from my US address yet but the price was right and I'll give an update when I install them.

I have front rotor warping at 27K miles and have to repair. Very disappointed in Ford.
This maybe the option I'm looking for. Thanks.
PS, I drive slow and easy.
Well darn, just read the post about does not cover warping. :-(
I'll just pay to have them turned and change pads while in there.
