Hey guys and gals, hope everyone is enjoying their weekend!
I have a quick question regarding adding some auxiliary reverse lights. I want a little more than the LED's that I added into the taillight housing. I plan on mounting two lights under the rear bumper. I still haven't figured out if I want to run a relay and switch, or just tap into the existing reverse light wire. Anyways...
After searching and reading a couple different threads on other people's installs, I was wondering what the general consensus is on that the best lights are for this application? I went to my local auto parts store and was not too impressed with the selection. I hooked up a couple pairs to a battery in store to test the output, and was even more unimpressed.
I don't need a rigid industries light bar on the back, but would like to have something to aid backing up in dark areas. I would prefer a whiter light with a balanced distribution pattern (maybe LED?)... Not too wide, not too narrow. Lastly, I would like to keep it under ~ $80.
Thanks for the help in advance guys!
