Wiring better backup lights.

Wiring better backup lights.
Hi all, I'm looking for a little help from the electrical gurus here.....
I want to add some back up lighting to my 2011 XLT. Easy enough to do, however I would like them to come on only in reverse, and only when it is dark outside.
I know it can easily be done with 2 simple relays, just like I have shown in the diagram below, but I would like to know if there are any simple, "contained" units available?
I would like to find something that requires 2 separate inputs before it sends an output signal. I am going to use the parking lamp feed, and also the reverse lamp feed. I figured "relay1" in the diagram would be the parking lamps, and "relay 2" would be the reverse feed.
What do you think.... does something already exist, or is it best just to do 2 relays as pictured?
Thanks!

no difference really, I just always seem to find a need to complicate things!
I just thought it would be more aesthetic if they are off until needed. i am going to try to hide them under the rear of the bed so they shine down just behind the rear wheels. i just swapped to tow mirrors, and would love to see the rear tires while backing up at night!

I just installed one of these and they work great.
Hook it up to your back up lights.

i would do a simple one relay hook up. i know you want the lights only to come on at night cause thats when you need the extra light but a simple one relay set up is much easier to trouble shoot, wire, and hide.
the two relay set up will work but will also leave more room for error and could cause some headache if you have to trouble shoot the circuit.
the other thing is, whenever i hook up aftermarket lights/add-ons i dont like to use the factory harness on the truck if i dont have to. meaning i wire the add-on with its own isolated circuit. that way if something goes wrong it wont damage the existing circuit.
since you want the lights to only come on at night when in reverse you could just wire the lights up to their own switch directly to the battery with a relay and fuse. that way you could turn then on and off whenever needed.

I picked up a wireless relay from Amazon for $17 and then I'm gonna wire up the wireless relay inline with the wired relay. Then when in reverse, the lights will come on and I can also kick them on remotely when tailgating for lighting.
