Hi guys,
I'm looking at purchasing one of the Bakflip tonneau covers that uses tubes to drain water from the tracks down through drain holes in the bed. The problem is that my "new to me" -09 F150 S-crew SB came with a Ford Bedliner in it. The liner doesn't have drains so I can't see if there are drain holes in the bed near the front wall. In looking from underneath, I can see something oval-shaped that resembles a knock-out plug, (in the front wall, not the floor), but I'm not sure if that's what it is. I'd just drill through the bedliner if I knew there were drain holes there but I don't want to ruin the liner if they don't exist.
Anyone got a similar model without the bedliner who can advise me? Thanks in advance.

I don't believe there are drain holes in the front of the bed. Those rubber things sit up off of the ground by about an inch so I know those aren't for drainage. (Anyone know what those are for BTW?)

I've got a 2010, but I think it's the same/similar bed.

That said, I'm going be memory so it would be great for someone else who knows what they're talking about to confirm

I took mine to the place I bought it..... They showed me how they always do it. Drill a couple of 3/4" holes in the bedliner.

Access holes for when you have a cap on for stuff into cab etc.

I just drilled holes in each lower corner of the bedliner and stuffed the drain tubes inside them. The water will drain out underneath the bedliner and also there are tiny gaps between the bed floor and front bed wall which the water will drain out too. Mine has been like this for almost 18 months now and I don't see any issue with it. I pulled the tubes out a few months ago and looked inside and I didn't see any water pooled up under the liner.

I drilled a 1" hole through the liner, THEN turned the drill towards the front of the truck and went through the 2 oblong pugs that are in the box, as well. Then I pushed the hose through the liner and through those plug holes and the water now drains totally away!! If you are not sure where those plugs are, look at a bare truck, or, drill the liner then use a flashlight to spot the plug.

Sean, did you knock those plugs out or drill through them?

I appreciate all the input, guys. Something doesn't feel right about just feeding the tube between the liner and the bed but if there's a gap between the floor and the front wall for runoff I suppose that will work.

I did not pull out the plugs, just went right through them.
