I have an Undercover on my 2006 as well and highly recommend it to anyone. It weighs in at 58 lbs and can be removed by one person. I have had mine off several times when I needed to use the truck bed. Two people make the job easier due to the size of the cover, but one person can do it with no problems. It has two locks on it and I have never had an issue with water leaking into the bed.

I also went with the Bakflip HD for my 6.5' Screw. Fits great and survived four days of continuous rain last week with only a minor drip at the tailgate, which I plugged today with a little weatherstripping where the tailgate meets the top rail.

Also went w/ the Bakflip HD. I have done nothing extra as far as sealing the bed, and my stuff in the bed stays dry. The only water that gets in goes through the man-step, and I don't think there's much that can be done there. It's been through some heavy rains the last 2 mos as well as weekly trips to the car wash. I'm quite happy with this cover and feels it's worth every penny.

Bakflip here. Its a fine fit. The lid comes with 2 drain hoses- the hinges on the lid are actually rubber pieces meaning no water leaks through the hinged area into the bed. But the gap is lower than the deck so water does gather in there. It drains to the side rails, then either front or back. If front, it drains through a hole, into a tube, which you push into the catching hole, and the other end goes through the bed (through the rubber plug) and out of the truck. I have a liner so using a 1" hole saw. I drilled through the liner near the bottom, then pushed the bit through the hole and turned the drill towards the cab and drilled a hole through that plug. Now all water gets drained out.
The Bakflip also allows you to flip the cover all the way open so that you have access to the whole bed, without removing the cover. Nice.

Does the backflip HD come all the way out. If so how hard is it to do. I like that it flips up but i like to be able to see out of the back window, so I would like to be able to take it off all the way.

Yes it does come off and all it takes to remove the cover is unscrew the 2 star knobs that attach the cover to the side rails and the cover lifts right off.

I got a BakFlip HD for $675 (shipped). It locks, is hard (you can stand on it), is water-tight, and it folds partially or completely out of the way in case you have a large (or semi-oversized) load. Its definately worth considering.

Here in the Toronto area, $1000 (Truck Accessories Plus) was the least cost. Performance Improvements was $300 more!
Yikes
