The only thing I can think of is check the antenna connections. Mine is just fine. Good luck

Do you happen to have aftermarket HID headlights? The ballasts emit a frequency that impairs FM reception.

YES I DO, Morimoto 5Five HO ballasts,
Iv never heard of that(The ballasts emit a frequency that impairs FM reception.)
Is there a way around it?
If it comes down to the FXR projectors or the music, the projectors are gone.

I'm not familiar with that brand but I suspect that would be the culprit. Most people are unaware of this because they live in the city in which the radio station broadcasts from and it isn't usually a problem. If your like me and home is an hour away from the radio station I'm trying to pick up, all I get is static when my HID's are on. Unfortunately, there isn't really anything you can do other than use satellite radio or USB. You could confirm this by trying to pick up the station with your lights off, then turn them on.

Yep, sure enough. Good call
went out this am and tuned to station, nothing but static.
Turned the lights off , and was crystal clear.
As much reading as I did before the purchase of the retrofits, never once did I hear of that.
Thinking out loud here but Now I'm wondering if thats the problem I'm having with the ford access remote start? But the problem with that is the lights arent on when trying to lock, unlock, start the truck

It sounds weird but I have heard of people wrapping their ballasts in tin foil to help with this problem. Not sure but it may help with your issues.

Your remote start is probably like everyone else's. On a good day I can start mine from the next county over, on a bad day it won't work standing beside he truck. You can check the battery in the remote. If it's weak, replacing it will help.

Glad DylMyr had a solution for your radio.

Its the ford remote access app , not the remote start key fob
