Heck if I know? But it's something to think about for sure.

I just went to the dealer ship with the same question as you an he said its the gas he said since the winter blend they've had 2 0r 3 people a week asking the same question lol. If you want a tuner i suggest the sct where you get 3 free custom tunes. I just got mine an with the canned or standard tunes already getting at least 1 0r 2 better with better perf an trannie, I should get my custom tunes in a couple days an if you like I'll let you know how much better the custom tunes are.

Mine is horrible too, I get somewhere in the teens when I am flooring it all the time and I have the 5.4L and larger tires and everything. I'm pissed, I thought I was going to get good gas mileage when I bought this truck. I traded in a focus for it thinking I wouldn't have to spend more money on gas to get to work.

I hope everyone is not relying on your mileage indicator vs. doing the math when you fill up. Gas mileage has gone down for me as well but I also added heavier 20" with 305 tires and a level kit. Doing the math I avg 13 mpg. Before tire/wheels @ 15 mpg. Also need to know what city is and what a town is which also plays a factor and how much traffic you're sitting in.

Once again a person can't ask a simple question without remarks like this.

Maybe you are getting a higher content of ethanol in your gasoline there which will lower MPGs a lot. This past summer my MPGs dropped about 2 to 3 MPGs for two months and then came back.Others in the area noticed the same.Ethanol,Ethanol,Ethanol.

That sucks! It's just not fair! Did you get a good trade value on the Focus at least?

Good to know. Thanks.
