Had this problem when i first got my truck--the dealer changed the camera and wiring harness..oddly enough with the warmer weather coming, the screen is getting grainy again.

I don't have any guidelines in the rearview mirror ever. Pretty certain guidelines are only for the package that has the larger display screen on the console.

Mine does the blue screen occasionally after remote start and put the key in, turn it on and hit reverse. That is the only time it's ever done that for me. There is a memory retain setting on the screen somewhere that keeps the gridlines on. i just found that by accident after a year. It would lose the gridlines at next shutdown and start back up and I thought somehing was wrong...especially after seeing the blue screen a couple times. I set it to retain memory about a week ago and gridlines still there. By the way gridlines are in the mirror also

Interesting my truck is 3 weeks old and I've never seen them or haven't noticed them. I'll look closer next time. (guidelines)

I would lose the guidelines after I had a trailer on, and would have to go into the main screen and reactivate them. Camera replaced, problem solved! But now I lose them if I change my tune, but it is easy enough to reactivate them!
There is a tech bulletin for the disappearing guidelines, I would guess that it might be for the disappearing screen also?
