I have the xb's and I love them.

Retro:
Pros - More Customizable, Brighter, Many K Color Chooses.
Cons - More Expensive

XB:
Pros - Cheaper, Easier, Matches OEM HIDs
Cons - Not As Bright, Only One Color Available

Are the fogs atleast brighter than oem with the xb?

Hell yah they are brighter. I have the JW Speaker ones and they are retarded bright.

They cost twice as much as the Morimotos so I really hope they do. My guess is they're not twice as bright. Its the law of diminishing returns. They're probably 5-20% brighter (and I'd like to see more comparison pics to confirm that) but are 90% higher in cost

Yah well I haven't tried the fog lights but I put 3 sets of XB Halos in my fog lights before I gave up. JW speaker build quality is among the top I've ever seen.

The XBs were very simple to install and put off alot of light. For what you spend on the XBs it's kinda hard to beat unless you wanted the full custom look.
