Jack the truck up mark the driveshaft and turn it. See how many rotations for one wheel rotation.

Or just post your VIN and someone can look it up for you...

It's a sticker sealed around the right axle housing . Here's mine. It's mirrored bc I had to use the front camera on my phone to get a good pic. But you can clearly see its a 9.75" ring , 3.75 ratio, limited slip.

newfie25, it sounds like you have a 3.55 non-limited slip.
p38fln, axle ratio is not coded in the VIN. However, you could use the VIN to look up the window sticker to see what the truck was built with.
geabis, there is no 3.75 ratio in F-150 axles.
In 2011, available axles and their codes are:
Non-limited slip: 3.15-15, 3.31-27, 3.55-19, 3.73-26
Limited slip: 3.15-A5, 3.55-H9, 3.73-B6
E-locker: 3.73-L6

Sorry 3.73. Look at the pic. It's right there. 3L73 is a 3.73 limited slip.

The circle shows where to look on your driver's side door sticker. In my case, a 3.55 limited slip.

There is also the 4.10 axle available on the 2011 F150 with E locker. I have it in my driveway. It's a Raptor.....but it's still a F150
