yes... are you saying you wish it was the passenger side too?
i for one am glad its only the driver side and review (truthfully i wish there was a way to turn it off in certain situations...)...
with the height of the truck, and the auto dimming... cars that come up behind me at night basically dissapear... its a little unnerving, because then these geniuses try and and swing around me while im changing lanes... ya, i know i'll win.. .but still...

I love those auto dimming mirrors. The reason the passenger mirror isn't autodimming is because it's convex shape. Lights hitting the mirror bounce off in directions not directly hitting the driver's eyes.

Cars driving without lights at night are hard to see in the rear view mirrors, with or without autodimming fetures.
The autodimming mirrors darken as light is detected during the dark hours. Think of it this way - the mirrors only dim when there are headlights behind you. If you're on a dark deserted road at night, the dim on the mirrors is very light.
