So tell a little about the placement of the speakers... were they easy to switch out with the factory...hook up wise? i.e. were the connectors pretty much plug and play?

Its simple when you get the speaker wire adapter, no cutting or splicing!

Yes you need to order them separately. You need 2 packs for 4 speakers.

Unless you buy from Crutchfield.com they include them with speaker purchases! Theyre not expensive though!
