Default Anyone upgrade their sound system?

Hi all, I'll be taking ownership of an '11 SCrew and I was just wondering what you all have done for upgraded the stereo? I have 2 10" Hertz Energy subs out of my old truck (04 SCrew), but I'm thinking of lifting the back seat and maybe fitting some 12's? Or putting a few 8's behind the backrest. I have to see the truck first to see what I'm going to have room for. But I'm interested in seeing what everyone else has done!

There is a Stereo/Audio section where quite a few of us have posted pictures up of our 09-11 installs. Go check over there and I'm sure you will find more than enough pictures and information.

I upgraded both my 2010 and now working on the 2011. Used Rockfords in the 2010. Went with Infinity this time. I would definitely go with the infinity's over the Rockfords. I'm not real impressed with the A pillar tweets. Think I'm going to get my 4 channel amp and give them some more juice before I tear them out. (speaking of which. I have some brand new A pillars with speakers for sale.) Haven't done any amp wiring yet. I really need to get it done. I have two 10" JL's to go under the back seat. They work fairly well. Thinking of going 12's but not sure if anyone makes ones that will fit in the small space. I really can't stand the factory woofer. It craps out around 100hz if I had to guess. It's definitely not a subwoofer.

Ya, I made sure that the sound system I bought was as basic as possible on my truck. I knew I was planning on changing it out right away, so I didn't want to pay them for anything that I was planning on throwing out. Lol. Thanks for the info too. I'll be sure to check out your link blackknight
