If you have a trailer with trailer brakes on it they automatically turn off when going into reverse.

Yeah all the trailers I pull are boat trailers. So I don't see me ever hooking up to one with electric brakes anytime soon. I'd love to just disconnect them lol

Maybe someone could use a round to flat trailer adaptor to trick it. Or it should be set to off when you select trailer on the shifter and/or in the LCD screen.

Get a round trailer connector and a red light and connect the light to the trailer brake circuit. The truck shoul dsee it as a trailer with brakes and shut off the sensors.

Connector 406 location --------> Maybe disconnecting that will stifle it? The only wires in that connector are the 4 sensors.

Is it really that big of an inconvenience to press the down arrow and then the OK button on the steering wheel? I agree that the beeping is annoying, but if you get into the habit of pressing two buttons, you should only hear 2-3 beeps.

The things people complain about still amaze me to this day. First world problems I guess.

Nope love them since they always work (unlike the camera eye i have to clean daily during the winter). I don't tow but then again that wasn't part of the question.
