Default Anyone hate their parking sensors?

These things drive me insane. The fact that they don't automatically shut off when a trailer is hooked up, and you have to turn them off each time only after cycling thought the camera functions is also stupid. Is it as simple as unplugging them or will I get a parking sensor fault?

Pretty sure if you go to settings in the cluster screen you can go to vehicle settings? And default the sensors to off... Or you can do it the way you do it every time you shift into reverse

Mine only annoy me when the tailgate is down but they are easy to turn off using the steering wheel controls and the driver information display?

I don't think the sensors can be permanently turned off via the lcd in the dash

Weird, Mine pops up on the Dash screen on or off, and once the selection is made it resets when the vehicles is restarted. I got in the habit of going in Reverse after hitch and turning it off in the driveway. I imagine unplugging them shouldn't throw a fault but they may beep all the time. I am not sure. My Uncles GMC shows a fault when it picks up his hitch, and it is just a 2" Rise.

I don't want them to reset when I turn the truck off.

Actually I was wrong. It's the first prompt when you put it into reverse. Still want em gone though

gotta admit I wish they would auto off when the trailer was connected, love them when no trailer is connected, hate them when I reverse with my trailer.
