Default 2013 F150 Cabin Shift after accident

I was recently in an accident where a lady pulled out in front of me and we hit her broad side at 40. There was about 16 grand in repairs done including some frame repair. The truck was repaired last week and everythin looked OK initially. I was not happy about getting a rebuilt truck back, but arguing with the insurance company didnt do any good. The book was 28 on the truck so they were insistent on repairing it. Today I noticed that the cab was out of alignment. On the drivers side it sticks out about an inch past the bed.

My question is how big of a deal it is to reposition the cab? Also, what other issues should I expect or ask about to protect myself from future issues.

Thanks
Steven

Call the insurance company that paid for the work.

Most insurance companies insist that the car or truck be fixed 100% right (even if with used or aftermarket parts) because they don't want future liabilities in the event of another accident.

Most also guarantee repairs for some period of time (some even cover the repairs for as long as you own the car).

If it's not right, call them, and set up an appointment with one of their adjusters, odds are they'll look it over, determine what they want to do next, and advise you from there. Odds are that they'll have the body shop that did the work before fix it again.

I have State Farm for everything, and when a tree was struck by lightning and landed on my roof, we had a problem with the roof again a few months after it was fixed because the contractor hadn't properly repaired a broken rafter. They made the contractor repair that correctly and re-roof the house again. My sister's car at the time (a Suzuki Reno) was also damaged by the tree, the body shop that did the work didn't install the rear glass correctly, and they made them fix that too. I've worked on the body shop side of things (I've done parts orders for two dealership body shops over the years), and seen adjusters make the shop fix the car again if it wasn't perfect when delivered back to the customer.

A lot of times it's the bed that needs to be re-positioned, not the cab. We have a few F-150's at work that are off right from Ford.
