Remote start a/c seat
1 have a 2012 eb f150 plat. I know i have seen the thread but can't find. When using remote start the seats are suppose to cool if outside temp is over 78 degrees or something and the setting is set to auto. Some have said they will come on but the light will not indicate they are on.
My seats are set to auto , outside temp 90 degree but they do not come on , I can tell by touch and the fan under seat is not pulling air. Any ideas?

Boost :)
They seem to have a mind of their own. Sometimes mine would turn on and sometimes they wouldn't. There were times when they would come on when it was cold outside. If you set them to Auto, they should come on.
I've moved on to a Viper alarm which that doesn't sync up with that anymore, but it never worked properly anyway. So much better to have a real remote start with long range and 2 way communication.

Thanks
Just wanted to make sure I wasn't missing a secret trick or something. The vipers are cool, I had a viper on my 2010 f150, the best part was the starter app I had on the phone since the majority of time I locked keys in truck and use the keypad and would never have key fob with me.

My cooled seats work as they should on my '13. Meaning when I remote start the truck, they always come on when it's warm out.

I had a 2011 and the seats never came on - heating or cooling. It'd be -5 outside and the heated seats woulndt come on unless the key was in the ignition.
I was told this was normal, even though the owners manual said otherwise.
