Anyone else think the '09 looks ugly?

Anyone else think the '09 looks ugly?
I was just looking at the new F150 and the FX4 is the only one that looks acceptable to me. I wondered what other F150 owners are thinking. Another thing that worries me is that they've changed the tranny again. I could be wrong, but don't they have enough problems already without changing before they even get this one right?
Personally, I have always thought the best part about Ford trucks was the fact that the mechanical components are kept nearly the same so that they are improved over time. Ever since they started changing everything all the time I've started hearing about a lot more problems. I just feel like these newest ones are totally overkill to the highest order. There are way too many things to go wrong with the '06 FX4 I have and I can only imagine what these will be like. I thought originally when I bought mine, that since it felt so much more solid and had lots of nice things on it that it would be like my '93, but way better. Well, it is better, but good lord I paid many times more for it, so it should be. I just can't justify the price I paid for mine, which is $34k after rebates, when I compare it to my previous Ford trucks. It worries me that Ford is playing this game with the others of who can build the fanciest truck. Hell, they're so nice as it is already that I rarely even use my truck for truck stuff. I break out the old one for real truck work. Oh well, I guess they know what people want, but this person just wants the problems with the current ones fixed.

The outside will go on me but the interior is better looking. Ford IMHO must go forward with their cars and trucks. The Fusion is a good example, nice car that even the rags rate high. I hope the new F150 has few if any first year problems. Guys remember when the 04 F150 how much ahead of the others it was? They need to stay that way.

I think that ford should have made the hood look more like the superchief. It would have gave it more of a late 70s retro look. I liked the grille of the FX4 at first but now I like the xlt grille better. I am sure if I drive one, I will want one. I have never had a problem with a ford transmission and I pull with mine all the time. Ford f-150 has way more options and different configurations than any other truck out there. From wheels to box sizes to trim packages. There is a model to fit about any customer's needs. I will probably have my 04 for a while yet till the new ecoboost engines come out. I like the idea of the diesel but not at the fuel prices of today.
