I got under the truck today and it looks like my 2wd Tremor has a 2 piece as well. I plan on lowering it 3/5 with a Belltech flip kit in the rear, will this be a problem or cause vibration issues?? I have heard of guys using shims on their lowered rcsb F150s to correct vibration problems but I am new to lowering and do not know too much.

If I understand correctly, some of those kits come with parts to modify the carrier bearing mount. It actually needs to be moved up, closer to the floor of the truck once lowered. It involves cutting out part of the existing mount bracket. Someone who has actually done this to their truck should be able to provide more info. Interesting looking exhaust. I don't believe mine looks like that.

Ground Control comes with a spacer that you bolt in place of the factory mount.. if you don't do this, expect a vibration around 55 mph

So the spacer lowers the mounting point? I thought I saw something about needing to cut away the frame mount to raise the carrier bearing?

Taken from user CuznVinny I'm still not sure what I am looking at but he has the rear Belltech flip kit on his SuperCrew FX2

Thanks for digging that up. Looks like the stock drop is removed and the C/B is shimmed away from the crossmember a bit. Good to know. Maybe I won't have to have a shaft made. I am going to order the leafs and see what happens. Would be great if I could get 3" drop in rear and maybe 2" in the front. There is about 2" difference now.

Default tremor

well I love my tremor. Got $2000 off ticker. It's a very limited production truck that's very quick. Had mine for three months now, have not seen another. wonderful. All it needs is a rear sway bar.
Something you should know, the truck is quicker when using mid grade fuel. 89 octane.
