Default anybody muffler delete only?

Sorry if its been covered, I couldn't find it. I only access from my phone.
I wanted to just unbolt from right after the resonator, bolt a solid piece in the same spot and dump right after the axle. No muffler.

Cats> resonator> straight pipe dumped right over axle.

2013 stx 5.0

If anybody has done this or has a sound clip, I'd really appreciate it.

No problem but mine is done rather plain and simple I didn't have any cash so I just bought 2 18"x3" pieces of pipe from auto zone and a 2 7/8 clamp welded the 2 3" pieces together and to the tail pipe then put 6-8x1/2 long cuts in the end of the pipe to clamp on to the stainless 2 7/8 stock pipe after the res and clamped it down nice an tight

yea.. jm going for plain too. And cheap as possible. Haha

I was thinking just unbolt the whole muffler after resonator, get a piece long enough that will get to the exhaust first hanger location. Bolt it right up to the existing flange and dump it off to the side or something.

Well.. I did it yesterday. Cost me $21. That includes 18" straight pipe, 45º turn down pipe (welded the 2 together), c-clamp and hanger.

15 minutes to pull stock muffler out, slide new piece in and put hanger on.

Sounds great. Had the windows down yesterday and its not loud enough to hear it in the cab. Its suble when cruising but nice and mean during acceleration. Perfect... and best part... cheap & simple

Will post pics and sound clip (if I can get a good one) later today hopefully
