I know they only come polished but was wondering if anybody has powder coated them or plastidipped them black! I recently got a set and have really thought about powder coating them gloss black! I just don't want to do it, regret it and ruin a good set of polished wheels. I'm hoping someone has a picture of black ones on a truck! Thanks. These are the limited wheels I'm talking about installed on my truck

no but [MENTION=167802]HawaiiKid[/MENTION] has them powdercoated FX grey. Much better option over black IMO

i dont want a grey truck and grey wheels! Too much grey to me, I like some contrast! They have an awesome metallic black i really like at the powdercoaters! I'll probably just keep them polished if i can't see how it looks black first.

That's the beauty of plastidip. Go grab 4 cans and do them. If you don't like it, wait a day and then peel it off.

I thought about it, but at $25 a can its hard to swallow to just peel it off the next day. And I wouldn't leave it on any longer because I'm not a big fan of flat black. I had my stock FX4 wheels dipped and took it off after a week! But is an option, I'm hoping somebody has installed gloss black ones on their truck

$25 a can? It's 5.98 at Menards, and they make a glossifier to give it a glossy finish.
