I paint it constantly it seems. Well the last 2 weeks anyway. Haven't seen it on an f150 yet. 14 is the only year it will be on an f150.

Looks good! Any clue how much it would cost for the f150 cap to be painted? I'm trying to get a rough idea so I know. Is it a hard color to match? Do you sell cans of it if needed?

Depends on where you live. By that I mean the labor rate. At my shop its about $50 per hour for customer pay. I usually get 0.5 hours labor per cover, so about $25 a piece. This is at my shop though. And that's not including paint+materials, tax, etc.


Color is so new, the aren't any variants yet. So no it's not hard to match.


No we don't sell cans. Auto body supply stores might though.

My next truck will be 2014 XLT 5.0 4x4 3.73 Sunset metallic with tan interior. I know I will have to order.

Hey everyone. First post here. I am quite fond of this color. I currently have an 11 fx4 luxury with everything and a 5.0. On jan 18 I ordered a 14 fx4 luxury with everything and in sunset. Dealer said it should be here by Friday. It will be getting levelled and a set of nittos on it as soon as it arrives. Just like the 11. Can't wait!!
