C Dub

Newbie here, my next vehicle is def going to be the F150. Went looking at my local dealer and thought the Sunset Metallic looked great, especially in the Lariat trim with the Adobe. I've searched this forum high and low and can't find any threads showing off this color. I did find one thread with a pic of an Explorer. It was even left off the poll question about the 2014 color choices. Geez, is it me? Lol

Am I the only one that loves the Sunset Metallic? Anyone have any pics to share?

It's very similar to ruby red, but it's got more of a burnt orange tone to it. In the shade, I doubt you'd be able to tell the difference between the 2.

I really like the color, wish it was available when I bought my truck in 2012. My parents just bought a '14 fusion in the sunset and it looks great. Next truck I get will most likely be in that color.

I just looked at one at the dealership and I like it! It really pops in the sunlight similar to the Ruby Red. It does seem like a dirty orange, almost copper color in the shade or when cloudy though.

Yeah Hardcore, def looks like a burnt orange. There was a Ruby Red a few trucks down and I could tell the difference but like you said it looked pretty close. I like both colors but there's a ton of red trucks on the road.

Funny thing is Scrappy(nice truck!) I love Blue Flame on the FX4 and STX models but the Sunset and Ruby looked real good on the Lariat with the two tone paint.

Too funny cfree, I'm going back over the weekend so I can see it in the sun. When I seen it it was overcast. In the shade the orange was muted, I hope it doesn't look a lot lighter in the sun.
