will anybody stock a 2013 Scab 6.2L?
Curious, will this be a rare combination to find in stock? Dealers may not even invemtory this combo, perhaps only special order?
What mpg do the 6.2L Crewcabs get? I get 16 avg mpg with the 5.0 scab.

Mine's averaging 13.5 overall, mostly highway though. 11 Lariat SCREW 4WD.
I'm guessing there won't be a lot of SCAB 6.2Ls ordered, and if they are, they will all be in higher trim levels FX4, Lariat, etc. It's about a $7k option in the XLT to get it, and most people will be scared off by the fuel mileage.
I think most of the dealer ordered 6.2Ls will be FX4/Lariat and higher trim levels, and they'll almost all be SCREW 4WDs as well. You'll probably have to special order the one you want.

my 2wd 5.0 reg cab STX w/decor and tow pkg came from another dealer as well and it was just under 100 miles away. it was the only truck equipped that way within a 1000 mile radius. my saleslady also handles delear exchanges, so she authorized my DX as they call it with the other dealer and traded a new 5.0 stang convertable. it was the only GT vert we had in inventory and this was at the end of may, AKA the begining of prime vert weather. I found out later that the gen sales mgr was PISSED because my truck was an employee sale, aka very little profit. so they lost their ONLY stang gt vert and the profit magin associated with it during the summer to get a cheap reg cab truck and sell it to an employee.
I cant understand why he's be upset :-)

The local Ford dealer here hardly ever stocks Scabs. Its probably 85% crew cabs, 10% regular cab (work trucks) and 5% scab.
I had to go half an hour north to find my Scab 5.0 on a dealer lot. It was the only one of that config they had at the time.
I'd assume you'd have to special order a Scab 6.2L.

I went in ready to order an FX4 Sterling Grey Screw before the 2012 books closed, was undecided on engine and wanted to test-drive them both. They had this Scab, basically optioned exactly the same way I was going to order... test-drove it and a few Screws. Since I didn't really need the larger rear seat and they were doing me solid on the money, I ended up picking this up. I'm guessing they needed to get rid of it before the 2013s started coming in, and they'd have a hard time moving it.
Almost all of their other trucks were highly-optioned Screws (lots of high-end XLTs and Lariats) or work trucks.
