thus why I don't even TRY to use bluetooth streaming audio...
not only does it run the battery down on your phone, but the quality is sub-par... although most wouldn't notice the quality difference, but I'm an audiophile, so it's REALLY noticeable to me, lol

I have no problems with bluetooth streaming with my EVO. I don't notice any quality difference between the bluetoon stream, plugging directly into the line-in, or USB.
Pandora also compresses the audio it's streaming, so it's essentially the quality of a 128 kbps MP3.

I have the Droid Incredible and Bluetooth stream Pandora every day. Every once is a while it skips but that's maybe once or twice a month. I have always assumed it was loss of 3G signal not Bluetooth signal. When it does skip I am not in good Reception areas.

I have the iPhone 3Gs and the quality isn't bad at all. But recently, I have had issues with the music pausing and starting back. It only pauses for a second, but it's just plain annoying!

While researching another problem, I read that turning off the wireless on the phone solves this one...but sadly not mine

Also, since you are moving a relatively fast speeds (compared to walking with your phone), having your cell phone bounce from cell tower to cell tower can be an issue. Or it could be the quality of your service area.
When this happens, how to your signal bars look?

I used Pandora last night on two 30-minute drives just to test out.
1) It didn't skip.
2) I was totally surprised that the steering wheel controls worked for the phone. Very cool.
