Default alternator volt readings

Hey guys. 2011 ecoboost. I have one of those obd2 readers I permanently installed. I t gives you all kinds of readings. My alternator reads between 12.8-13.2 volts most of the time. I never had a problem however, it seems low. Is this low or normal?

Yes
I had the same question a few months ago. The ECU regulates voltage on an as-needed basis.

? Actually the voltage should vary with temperature. It is the battery that determines what the voltage should be.
