Default Are all eccoboost's affected with shuttering?

It seems like a common problem with the new trucks. Anyone who hasn't had a lick of trouble with their truck please chime in. Thanks!

I have a 2012 F150 Ecoboost FX4 and I don't have any shuddering that I can tell. Smooth as silk. No vibrations, nada.

Search around and you will find PLENTY of people with no issues at all, myself included. The issue seems much more widespread because people on this site complain about it. The number of F-150 owners on this site compared to the total number of F-150 owners is probably 5% at best. You can't base a "widespread problem" on a small percentage OF the 5% of owners on this site.

None problems her with shuttering or clunking. 2011 xlt ecoboost screw 4x4. Although I have had two major boost spikes. First was in stop n go traffic and the second was passing a hemi ram on the highway. Oh wait that was my foot.

I haven't noticed it on mine. I've got a 2012 w/just over 3,000 miles. In fact, I just heard about it the other day. OP... what is the wheel base of your truck. I've heard it may have something to do with a driveline angle issue and may only affect the longer wheel base model, but that's only hearsay.

How did you reach this conclusion...."common problem?"

Last, I believe the term is shuddering, not "shuttering", which refers to closing up or ceasing operations.

My 11 was a 145 wb and it shuddered in top gear, noticeably worse when tuned. My 12 has a 157 wb and it has the shudder from a stop but not the 6th gear one really.

To answer the OP....no, not all trucks with ecoboost engines have shuddering issues. Not even close.
