Default Airaid or K&N?

I'm wanting to put a CAI on my truck but don't know which one to go with Airaid and K&N seem to be the most popular brands I am finding when I look for them but I am open to other brands as well just wondering which one is the best.

AEm with the ETI module for the MAF so you wont need a tune. Plus it looks bad ***. It also replaces the ugly bottom of the air box and the plenum with the giant silencer. You wont regret it.

Banks doesn't have one on their website for a 2010 5.4.

How do you like your AIRAID?

Neither. Save your money or use it on other mods. Just my opinion.

I know a lot of people with a CAI on their chevy or dodge and the only thing it's done for them is increase power and mpg. If it just put more dirt in your oil I don't think very many people would be buying them. And what I do with my money is up to me if your just gunna be an *** then don't reply to what people right on here.

Looks to have the "best" what?

Just because something "Cost's" more money, does not make it a better product.

Hello QuentonJ,

The Overall Qaulity of Components, FIT & Finish and Performance of the AIRAID are 2nd To None!

The AIRAID has been fully calibrated and Does Not Require any Tuning!

All AIRAID Intakes are Made In The USA and Feature our Lifetime "No-Hassle" Warranty!

Any other questions, please let me know.

Thanks,
David

Maybe so. However, please review your website. Look down on the bottom of the product information. It says: Tunning required...Yes.

Thats why I did not purchase this product. Plus it retains the ugly stock plenum with the ugly silencer box (as seen on your picture). It also retains the bottom of the stock air filter box (also shown). If I were to get this product, I would rather just do a gotts mod and a Kand N drop in filter.

Here is a thread with pictures of my AEM unit with ETI module. It replaces the WHOLE intake unit prior to the throttle body. I do not believe that any of these unit give you any power or fuel millage. However, if your going to purchase one of these at least let it be loud and bad *** looking.

No stock plenum, No stock airbox, No tune, Nice and loud, Looks bad ***.
