Congrats and welcome to the Ford world of poor ac! The 13's, for some of us, perform very poorly! See this thread: https://www.f150forum.com/f38/compre...ng-fix-271852/

Yes, you should have colder temp, but ford will tell you that if you have 40 degrees less than ambient, you are OK. Specs say that our coils should cycle between 36-38, which they don't. Hence higher vent temps.

The work around in the link above, has saved many. Although not a 100% fix, it makes summer bearable since ford screwed us.

Basically, we believe they Ford messed with the AC in models between 10-14, for fuel economy reasons. Does yours stink, yet?

Lightbulb

Are you using the recirculate feature?

If not, consider it.

Not sure I understand all of your post, but here goes.

If your 13 is within 36/36K, any ac repair should be warranty. Problem is, ford says there is no issue.

Are you saying that you got yours fixed? If so what did they do, since the cycling rate which controls the coil temp, is programmed into the PCM and is not adjustable.
