Default Aftermarket UCA, Who has and which brand.

Looking to pickup some Aftermarket UCA in the future. Camburg, Total Chaos, Icon are some of the most popular. I see that Pro Comp has come out with some new UCAs. They seem pretty beefy, they use 1.25 Uniballs and have pretty strong construction.

I usually shy away from Pro Comp, but these seem like a good choice.

Some info on the Pro Comps. Courtesy of F150Lifts. Hey Alex, I will be ordering from you buddy when I get the funds!

Pro Comp has engineered the new Pro RunnerTM Control Arms utilizing oversized stainless steel FK uniball joints. The big uniball joints provide unparalleled strength over factory ball joints. Heavy duty 1.25" chromoly tubular construction and reinforced pivot bushing mounts are used to eliminate flex and handle the added load from extreme suspension cycling. Large PTMEG pivot bushings are equipped with zerk fittings for easy maintenance and quiet operation. Each arm is finished in a durable black powder coat finish for years of lasting performance, and includes a billet machined dust cap to keep dirt and debris out of the uniball. Technical Details: Fits 2004 to 2013 Ford F150 2WD/4WD Heavy duty chromoly construction Huge 1.25" "Uniball" ball joints Reinforced bushing mounts Zerk fittings for easy service Dust Caps Included Black powdercoat finish.

Hey,,,thanks for the shout...Yes have to agree the PC UCA's look to be really nice and they include the cover caps. Really pretty darn cool. UCA's all depend on what wheel you are running and what back spacing is required to run the UCA. The Icon's are popular because you can run them with the stock Ford 20" wheel. It sure looks to me that the PC UCA is based off the Camburg arms....the 1.25 uni-ball...just the look. Nothing wrong with that the Camburg arms are nice....if you can get them. I called PC about what back spacing their arms required and after being on hold for a long time the answer was 6.5" of back space...just like the Camburgs. We have the ProComp UCA's in stock when you are ready.

Back Spacing.....the more you think about it the more you can get confused. So here is a drawing explaining:

Does that mean a maximum off 6.5"? Mine are 5.9. Will I be ok?

More travel. No binding ball joints. Less maintinence in the long run.
