Default Aftermarket parking sensors

Anybody have any brand recommendations or install tips I think I know where I want them installed and am wondering if I can use just two instead of the normal four

K, IMHO stick with your idea of the bumper system. I tried the hitch scan from Echomaster for my '11 XLT, and didn't have any luck with them. Bought one, it didn't work properly. They sent me another, it worked for approx. tow weeks then did the same thing as the first. I just gave up.

BTW, I didn't have any problem with the company. They tried their best to make it right.

Does anyone have the angle tool that tells you what angle insert to use?

sammusi, It would hang up, and keep sounding until I pulled the receiver from the power plug. Even after reprogramming, both of the units would do the same thing a few days later. We tried new receivers, then a complete new unit. Quite aggravating.

I thought it was the truck, and sold the second unit to a friend that drives a Silverado. It did the same thing in his truck. I gave him his money back, and put the thing in the basement where it still resides.

Ok I received the kit today . I looked over everything and ended up.keeping it . I've worked at a body shop for the past 13 years and am pretty much as hands on as I possibly could be . I'm going to "pre wire" everything then drill the sensors . And I do have the angle tool also I can let you know what angle to do on the sensors when I do mine. All in all looks like a factory kit and we'll built .

I'm going dirty haha drilling through the chrome bumper and the black textured part . I wrote an estimate the other day on a 2010 xlt for a rear bumper left side .. they only come in pairs so if I screw up at least I'll have that other side to use . I'll keep you posted I have to find time to stay after and work on it but also have a leveling kit and wheels and tires to mount and balance so it's gonna be a few days/
