This switches should look good. The seat on them icon is backlit blue. So that should fit in well with the blue dash and controls look.
Hopefully it won't be to long to get and install them.

Ha Ha.... You read my mind with stock location for the switches..... Crap!!!!
So, since I want my switches illuminated and mounted in my console somewhere, I decided to go this route......
..... and to place them on either side of the front console (silver area) directly below the brake controller on the drivers side and the same open area on the passenger side..
And if that works well, I may consider doing the same for the rear seat and mounting the switches under the rear vents on either side of the 12v source.....

I really like this idea! Did you get the switch kit from the same company? I had no idea this could be done so cheap!
I wonder how effective they are on fabric seats though. Can anyone provide real results???

If they don't work well, its only a few bucks.....
I would think they work as well on fabric as leather. But time will tell. My issue would be how they would feel under your butt. Whether on of off, hopefully no lumps....

They work BETTER on cloth seats. My dakota had factory cloth heated seats which I really missed with the F150. I put these heaters (different switches) in my F150 three months ago and love them. I put leather in a couple weeks ago and they still work great but (subjectively speaking) the heat is felt more quickly with cloth seats.

Bugger, I paid that price with two position switches. Some things keep getting cheaper.

I figured it was $80 for one.
Do it!
Oh, and get outta here, you're freaking me out.
I found on Tasca that you can buy the Ford heaters for $50 a seat, minus the switches and such.
The weird thing was that there is a part called a "blower"??
And I think I might've found our elusive padding
And sorry, I just can't help but be jealous of your seats

This may be a stupid question, but I was just wondering if there is such a kit for making your own A/C seats? That's the only option I really wish I waited until 2012 for.
