What else are you going to do with it? You have already paid for the thing, and it's not like it's going to hurt the truck.

If there would be no known improvements or if I can't retro fit it to adapt to my 2011, i would list it for sale locally or on eBay.

w/o a tune, it's pretty useless. As for retro fitting it, I have no idea. Why not contact afe?

I noticed better throttle response with the stage 2. Mine has a lid though so it's pulling cold air. My wife hated the sound so I pulled it off. If anyone is interested in it shoot me a PM.

Did you keep the CAI on, just removed the lid?

time to clean the filter... so I did, but I was out of the Gold filter fluid from AFE and had ordered some...

but no option in this case, so I slapped on the original intake unit... with a decently clean stock filter.

what I found?

1. seems to actually have better low RPM throttle response... more smooth power at lower rpm

2. less of that "lugging" the engine noise... not a noise I liked anyhow...

I don't have a tune; so I reckon that there just isn't enough vacuum using the mach force and that make have made the power delivery peaky in stock form... may have more HP closer to the top of where the turbo's peak out (i.e. 4800-5200 rpm) but for daily driving... I actually don't think the Mach force is beneficial.

Now I'm on the fence for putting it back on
