I need to do this as well, it's the only thing on the truck that has the slightest bit of rust. So thanks for posting haha. Plastidip would've lasted maybe 1 second at best if you ever used the hitch. It would just rip instantly and make it look worse!

Yeah, I didn't think plastip was a good option. I saw someone mention that on a non Ford forum but wasn't sure since I had not ever used it. I see people use it on wheels a lot but then I see it flaking off too. Also saw someone mention spray on bed liner product. Paint and primer it is.
