Default Adjusting HID Headlights

Since my lift, I'm blinding oncoming traffic. I don't want to be "that guy". I looked in the owners manual and I can't seem to find the adjustment screws.

Does anyone have experience adjusting the HID's?

There is a small channel with screw on top of headlight. Turn it counter clockwise to lower.

2" drop at 24 feet is the recommendation.

So...to make sure I have this right, I park the truck 25' away from a wall, turn on the lights, put tape on the wall at the height of the light, lower the lights 2" and call it a day.

Correct?

Fortunately, the HIDs have a very straight/sharp top edge to the light.

Obviously newbie at this.

That's one way to skin the cat, but yeah you've got it...kind of...as your truck is now more level than before, you should find the centerline of the projector and then measure it out on the wall.
I have gotten to the point where I don't need a wall. Just take a measuring and ID the centerline at the truck, walk out 24' and see where the cut off hits the tape. Sounds strange but between my retrofit, then the level, then the new tires I've now aimed these lights more than I care to admit.

There should be a small molded dot on the lens of your head light to get your initial height measurement. And as stated above 2 inches at 25 "or 24" feet is the appropriate way.

^^^^^^^ this exactly..... Glad to see we haven't had the 6"/8" ... lift comment yet stating that you need to compensate for the extra lift.....

2" drop from headlight center @ 25' Rule of thumb, and used at any state/provincial inspection station when a headlight aiming tool isn't avail.
