2011 Ford F150 Ecoboost - Solved
After experiencing shutter described all over this forum with loss of power and engine light ON, today I replaced the plugs. Ford told me that the original plugs (SP-528) were replaced with SP-538. Must be a reason...
Easy install (about 45 minutes). After replacing the truck now has the power that I loved and smooth as silk. All plugs looked OK except for one that spot on the side that I assume was part if not the problem. See pic
I love this truck but the shuttering that I had over the last several weeks concerned me. I have 93K miles, so plugs were due anyway.
Interesting facts: Gas mileage since I bought new in 2011 has been great at 21 MPG on highway easily. If I baby it and not exceed 70MPH, I have gotten as much as 23.6 MPG from Dallas to Galveston.
I will continue to monitor and report any changes that occur but it was very evident on my test drive that there was a clear difference.

Would you be so kind to paste a link to the referred to video that shows the pinion moving up to extreme angles?

2015 take off shudder 157" WB
Just in case any of you guys were looking to fix your issue by buying a 2015 DONT DO IT! I have a March 2015 build SCREW, 157" WB, 6.5 box, 4x4, $60K Lariat that has the take off shudder unloaded. Gets worse with weight in the bed. Gets scary with a trailer hooked. Fords trying to say it's a characteristic the first time I brought it in for this issue. BS. Took it to purchasing dealer & they have had it a week now stating there is definitely an issue but waiting on a field engineer to show up & check it out. So there you have it! Ford HAS NOT fixed this issue after all these years. Makes me fkn sick to my stomach!

Ford Customer Service
I also have a 2015. Ive had it almost a month, and everything was good until I put my 5th wheel on it and took off. Ive got a terrible driveline vibration when taking off loaded. I have the Max Tow package SCrew EB with 6.5 bed. Im so irritated I wish I could get my 11 SCrew EB that I had back. Ive also been able to get the axle wrap vibration with my unloaded car trailer. I have less than 1000 miles on this thing and Im ready to get rid of it.
I recommend setting up an appointment with your dealership at your earliest opportunity. Please send a PM with your full name, best contact number, VIN, and dealership information; I'll request that your regional customer service manager assist with the vibration.

Been down that road already. Ford is not going to do anything about it. Your truck will sit at the dealer & they will tell you everything looks fine. They know there's a problem with the 157" wheel base 2 peice drive shaft trucks but continue to tell customers it's a characteristic of the truck. They are not interested in fixing it or trying to fix it. Had my truck at 2 different dealers wasted almost 3 weeks of my time to tell me we can only do what ford tells us. Waiting on a field engineer is like waiting for the tooth fairy. Its total BS & really changed the way i feel about Ford Ill tell you that much. Here is some reading I posted in the 2015 section. Good luck to you!

Can Anybody help or suggest where to get help?
I have a 2103 4x4 f150.
When driving at any speed, the engine revs high and the trans goes into low gear for about 3 seconds, no lights or error codes either.
Dealer can't figure it out or get any diagnostic errors.
yesterday the trans was locked up, no forward and no reverse, just grinding.
It had to be towed to dealership, I suspect that when being loaded onto flatbed towtruck whatever was hung up , got released. dealer says AGAIN nothing wrong. any suggestions???

I installed the Roadmaster Active Suspension and, unfortunately, it did not solve this problem at all. And it's got to be a problem. I can't see this vibration not affecting key components—such as the differential. Well, there is now a new whine starting in the diff once again the past couple of weeks.
Starting to regret the sale of my Chev.

I've got a 2012 Ford FX4 with Ecoboost and the 6.5' box. I've got 213,000 km and had to do the differential around 180,000. The shudder on this unit is unbelievable with a trailer on. There is a shudder without a load, but of course, not nearly as bad. But with a load, the vibration is just awful on first acceleration up to 50kph, as many others here have reported.
