Acceleration shudder diagnosed by Ford!
#11
I've had the same issue driving in soft beach sand. Truck shakes violently. Easing off the throttle seems to reduce the shaking, but there's no telling when it's going to occur. I have the 6.5 Screw also. My question is how bad this is for the truck. Is there a risk for serious damage or just a symptom of high torque and low traction?

I also have the shudder. Anyone tried the super springs? http://www.supersprings.com/superspr...ew_general.asp Wonder if those would help?
Also, my truck now has developed the slip/bump feel when accelerating from a complete stop.

FORD: 2011 F150. WHEN STOPPING OR ACCELERATING THERE IS A CLUNK NOISE OR CHIRP/BUMP/SLIP FROM THE DRIVESHAFT. *RM
Feels like someone has bumped you from the rear. Going to try the spline lube next week.

Same problem here. Didn't have it until I put on the drop shackles without the shims. Put shims in and most shuttering went away.
I own a lawn service and tow a loaded trailer daily.
It's a

Had nothing to do with the shudders of coarse and had no effect.

My dealer installed different springs & blocks, shudder basically gone when unloaded. If I put weight in bed it starts coming back though. When this first started I suggested they put CalTracs bars on it just like original poster, of course they didn't.

This issue is more commonly known as "axle wrap."
You see it even more on trucks with large lift blocks (larger moment arm torquing on the axle) and/or small/soft spring packs. The best way to reduce axle wrap is just like you said-- using trac bars. You can sometimes also remedy axle wrap with overload springs or by replacing large blocks with lift springs, add-a-leaf's, etc.
Good luck with getting it fixed-- shouldn't be too hard. The hardest part is figuring out where it comes from, so you're past that

The only spring change that will help is a "double wrapped spring " that has two leafs wrap completely around the front leaf spring mounting bolt.
The problem is the upwards flexing of the single leaf spring in the area between the front mounting bolt and the start of the second leaf in the stack.
Doubling the first two springs at the front doubles the anti axle wrap capacity of the setup.
