Default AC not cooling enough

So I have been having a problem with my AC. To me it seems it is not cooling good enough. I have a 20 min. drive home from work and by the time I get home I still have the setting on 2 and I am still not comfortable. Yes I have it on Max cool with the recirculate on and crack my windows for the first min. or 2 to get the hot air out. Obviously I haven't took it in to the dealer yet but I wanted to see if others out there were having this problem as well? I searched on here and found that some 2010's were having the same issue but none seemed to have taken it to the dealer to see what they say and those threads were almost 2 years old. I am interested to see if the problem is still reoccuring on the 2011's and newer.

My 2011 FX2 is not blowing very cold either. I'm interested to see if there's a fix for this. I'm bringing it in for the first oil change pretty soon so I'll ask the dealer to check it out.

I haven't had this issue with my 2011 XLT. It gets so cold I have to dial it back or it'll freeze us out. Hope you get it figured out.

Same here! With my A/C on and my seat coolers in my Lariat, I feel like my nuts are going to freeze to the seat! So i'm good on the cooling side. The truck seems to be well insulated to, it stays cool for awhile after its turned off... At least compared to my other vehicles.

I just used my AC the other day and noticed it wasn't as cold as it should be.

I'm going to have it looked at.

my ac is cold but take awhile to cool , when i took it in they told me .."ford made a bigger truck but did not put a bigger ac system in it , and it was the same system as they have in the regular cab" so it just takes longer..but now if yours has gotten worse since you bought it , you may need to have it checked out , the r-134 they use now seems to not stay in the system very well

Mine seems pretty good, granted it has not been overly hot yet. I will have a better idea once we hit the normal 100+ days in Nebraska.

I have had to turn mine down already due to being TOO cold in the truck so far.
