Default AC not blowing too chilly?

idk if it's a ford thing, or just my truck, but my AC doesn't blow freezing cold like my old 02 chevy.

do your ACs kick ***? mine only gets super chilly when it's ~70 out. when the summer heat here kicks up to 110, the AC isn't too cold. i mean, it's not blowing hot air, but it sure as hell isn't going to make my nips pop.

so, basically, is it just me, or are these trucks like this

It's not just you. It's well documented around this forum. The A/Cs suck

mines cold, with a thermometer it shows to drop incoming air up to 45°, as long as the windows are shut, crack the window to smoke and it's gets hotter naturally, but the wife shuts her vents when we ride together because she gets cold, since I don't have dual climate control in my truck.

I'm not impressed with the AC in my 2012. The AC in my '01 Silverado was much cooler. I'm going to ask the dealership to look at when I take it in for my 1st oil change.

I just drove home today and it was 100. The AC seemed to be almost blowing no cold air at all. I am a little frustrated... 2013 truck too. Fix Or Repair Daily lol

I see a lot of people complaining on the forums about their A/C not working good, but mine works great.

When I had my 2010 XLT it seemed to never feel real cold when it got hot outside (pretty warm here in Mississippi). But with the 2011 Lariat it gets pretty cool and comfortable. I wonder if that could have something to do with having the flow through console, resulting in cooling the cab faster?

i have the console, and i leave the back vents open. the air temperature literally isn't terribly chilly. it's a little cooler than not having the AC on, but it is by no means COLD

42 degree air coming out of my vents, just takes a while to cool down the supercrew cab.

I took mine back to the dealer shortly after getting it and they said that it was low,on freon and added some. Worked good after that. They also said that this as a common occurrence and do it a lot on the f150. I guess if ford shorts all the f150's they sale by a little it adds up to some good savings.
