AC Leaking onto Passenger Floorboard
Guys/ Gals
Took an 11 hour road trip to the Outer Banks, NC from MA.
EDIT- should have specified this happened AFTER the long portion and we were driving out to dinner a few days later.
2014 STX Supercrew with 5k miles
My wife noticed some moisture droplets on her feet after I had the MAX AC on Low.
I looked down under the dash and saw the black plastic case was "sweating" with condensation, obvs enough to cause drips.
Anybody else have this issue? How did you resolve it?

In my truck, ON max AC, I've noticed air coming out by feet as well as the normal vents. So, on that long of a road trip on recirculate? Thats about 9-10 hours worth of highway driving. That's probably why it got wet. Water will take the path of least resistance.
Try getting some outside air when doing that. It'll help dry the condensation.

Out of curiosity, have you looked to see if it's draining from the drain tube under the hood (behind the passenger side exhaust manifold). Seeing any small puddling on the passenger side ground, to indicate it's draining?

In my truck, ON max AC, I've noticed air coming out by feet as well as the normal vents. So, on that long of a road trip on recirculate? Thats about 9-10 hours worth of highway driving. That's probably why it got wet. Water will take the path of least resistance.

Mastile- in the past I have noticed it draining- have not taken a look recently, but will when I get a chance. Still on vacation now

Similar thing happened on my old truck. I scooted under to check the drain plug, looked plugged. So I stuck a long pipe cleaner in there and out comes what looked like a 
load of hornets. Five stings later I was in the house. The things built a nest in there.
Took it to the dealer an had them deal with it. Charged me 1hr labor to take out the nest and I bought them lunch for the trouble of dealing with the creatures of Satan.
I am hoping that is not your issue.

dealer tried the old it's normal thing. and I lost my mind (respectfully).
after some back and forth I have to go back on the 20th to drop it off and they are going to pull the evap (?) from under the dash to check to see if there is something inside it causing the issue.. while it was running during their testing the witnessed no dripping outside, but agreed that drips only in side. they also tried cleaning the drain to no avail.
pics from different times and yes the carpet gets wet not alot, but enough (more than it should)
