How bad is the loss of power gonna be ?im 17 so I mostly do in town driving and not much more. So I was wondering what can I do to offset the power loss of it's that bad ? I ordered 35 Toyo open countrys mt on 20x12 fuel mavericks last Thursday so no turning back lol. About what it's gonna look like on my truck

Gear swap (4.56 gears) or a supercharger are your best options to regain your power/seat of the pants feel.

Basically, you just turned your 5.4 into a 4.6

You will end up with about 35HP to the wheels

In town stop and go traffic will cause you to lose about 3 mpg or more with those heavy tires. Brakes will take a beating also...truck will look good though!!

Towing will suffer significantly. It will definitely be something you notice especially on long hills.

On a plus side, if you do any long highway driving you should see good numbers.

I agree with others, I would gear swap if possible. However if you're only 17 that could be costly. I'd also look into getting a programmer with tunes. They will help. It'll also alow you to re-calibrate your speedo.
