Default 6.5" mcgaughys lift kit

Got a nice bonus at work, so I'm ready to get my lift kit, any one ever order from mcgaughys-store.com ? I'm pretty much set on that kit but looking for a good price.

Talk to the guys at truckimage.com. Forum member pricing, and even without that they are still about the best price on that kit anywhere I was able to find.

Took a few days to cut it, then a few more for powdercoating. Then when it shipped I go it about 5 days later.

Thanks man, I appreciate it.

yeah if i wasn't as worried about warranty for a while I'd be going with this one. decided to do coilovers first, then the lift after many more miles are on the truck. good luck with it.

d
Mcgaughys uses factory specs for their install of the lift kit, can't go wrong with that and dealers can't void your warranty for a lift kit but they can chose not to warranty suspension parts because of a lift kit and the same goes for coilovers. Either way if you do it right the first time, you have nothing to worry about

The McGaughys lift is great! However, don't let them fool you when they tell you the powder coated parts won't rust!! I live in Minnesota and the lift has only been on for about 9 months (1 winter) and it is rusting pretty bad already

I'm in central PA...Hell, rust even rusts here! Rustoleum is your friend. If you were to open the cabinets in my garage, you would think I owned stock. I have every finish of black available! lol It seems to hold up better for me than other brands.

What is the main difference between this lift or a Rancho or BDS? I have seen the BDS has some serious coilover options? Just trying to see what the advantage is.
