AdvanceTrac, Hill Descent & Dead Dash
Hello, for the 2nd time in 3 days, my 2013 F150 with Ecoboost had the following experience. As i slowed down, the "Service AdvanceTrac" and "Hill Descent Control Fault" flashed repeatedly. Besides that, my dashboard display went dark. My tachometer looked like the engine died when it stayed running. It would flicker on and off several times. On tuesday morning, once i got to safe place, i turned off the motor, waited 5 minutes and restarted. Everything seemed normal. Out of caution, i had it towed to my local shop. After investigating for a day, they could find no codes and nothing stood out. Now THursday afternoon, it happened again. I took video but its too large to share. While reviewing the video, I noticed my transmission temp gauge fell all the way to cold as if it just started. Is that a clue? THe only other issue i had is during hot and humid weather, my brake releae switch failed and i could not shift out of park. My bush fix was to drill hole in steering column and wrap a pull wire around the safety plunger. THis morning, my check engine light came on. I took it to shop. It read as some type of CAM sensor. He cleared that code but it was running fine. Please help. My mechanic can't find any issues.
