The hail was big enough here last year, it busted out windshields. I am a real believer in the paintless dent repair as I have had two trucks in the last 4 years with over $5000 in damage each.
The majority of the dents will be paintless dent removal. But they said the hood was to far gone to fix. I'm sick about it. I'm already thinking about trading

I hear you, the Aluminum hoods don't hold up well to the hail and mine had too many dents as well. It was cheaper to buy a new hood than pop the dents. If you replace the hood, don't forget about the emission decals on the underside of the hood.

Good call! They are replacing my dads hood on his 2011 eco screw. His truck is worse than mine.

That sucks, man. Hail is one of those things you just can't hardly predict.

Back in '92 we had a hailstorm of Biblical proportions here where I live, three of my cars had no garage to protect them and just got fawked, my Audi had its TRIM KNOCKED OFF the doors, for God's sake! My RX7 and Chevy pickup were totaled, I bought back the Mazda, put in a new windshield and drove it around for a few years and by golly, MOST of the dents eventually came out, at least to a certain degree. A few weeks of good old 100+ degree Kansas sun worked wonders....lol!

Good luck with your repairs, hope it is as 'good as new' when completed.
