Truck got annihilated by hail two nights ago. 4800 miles and need a new roof. It also destroyed my bakflip f1. Golf ball size hail for 30 minutes.

I was in Downtown Omaha when that storm hit, thankfully I was in a parking garage.

A few years ago, my Silverado got hit like that. They had to replace the roof, hood, 2 fenders and my bed cover. It was not a fun few weeks.

Good luck in getting it fixed.

Most of the central plains states deal with hail like that or bigger on a regular basis. I have seen softballs falling from the sky and going all the way through the roof and into the living room of a house here in Amarillo, TX. I'm sure Iowa, Kansas, Oklahoma, Nebraska, etc. all deal with the same thing. Take a look at some of this damage. These pictures don't really do justice to what took place.

Ill post more pics later. My dads 2011 ecoboost got it worse than mine. They have to put a new roof on mine and there are 16-30 dents in every panel.

It seems to hail like this every year somewhere around here. And suck because my truck doesn't fit in the garage.

I'm still trying to make it ok in my head that my 6 mo old truck wih 4800 miles, needs a new roof!

I feel your pain brother, I live in Nj and the same thing happened to me last may, I had a toyota tacoma and it looked like somebody took a hammer to it after the storm was over, ended up in $12,000 of damage because the body shop didnt repair it the right way and left half the dings and scratched the truck all up, needless to say, it was a 6 month ordeal and I was burntout so I traded her in for a 2011 f150, in a way I was glad it happened because I love my new truck and its alot more quality then toyota is. Definately give the paintless dent repair guys a shot at it. I had a similar experience with my truck, also at about 4800 miles. The damage was around $6000 on my truck. I needed a new Retrax and hood, but every other panel including the roof, they were able to pop the dents out without any paint work. The hail was big enough here last year, it busted out windshields. I am a real believer in the paintless dent repair as I have had two trucks in the last 4 years with over $5000 in damage each.
