I out it back to stock the day before and mine passes the next day.
Basically my 5 star tunes will trip the computer and it will say the sensors aren't ready to read.
The first time I tried to pass with tune on, it failed, backed it out of bay, put stock tune back on and drove it back in and it passed.

I have read on here that the tune will pass the inspection and read it will not. This is not bashing 5 star. Well today I had to get inspection and my truck failed because the 02 weren't ready as well as the catalytic converter. Had a total of 3 in not ready. I had my tune on the truck for almost 18 months without changing it. So I should have plenty of miles on it. So I put the truck back to stock. So I can pass my inspection in next couple days. Side note. Damn my truck is slow with stock tune.
I feel bad for you guys

that's weird man. South Carolina doesn't bother with inspections and the only real problem is some of the small town cops can be strict about hid's and super loud exhaust

One of the advantages to living in Florida. We don't have emissions testing. I used to catch hell in California with my old truck. It would not have passed Cali emissions testing, but being military (Marine) I was able to keep it registered back home in Oklahoma. No emissions in OK either.
I had true duals with no cats and Flowmasters.

Oklahoma doesn't have inspection at all!! They dont have registration or inspection on personal utility trailers. And the cops in Abilene will pull you over for not having a plate on your $1200 oklahoma 18' dovetail with a $55k brand new truck on it.. While being pulled with your $75k Company truck. If you try to tell them the law in Oklahoma, you'll be called a liar and a thief. Then be wearing handcuffs on the side of the road for a few minutes, while a TX DPS Officer tells them how dumb they are. Lol
I wasn't accused of stealing my brand new truck or my company truck. Just the $1200 trailer hahahaha.
