5 liter 7.7 qts. of oil is 8 qts. ok?

Default 5 liter 7.7 qts. of oil is 8 qts. ok?

Any problem just using a full 8 qts. instead of 7.7 qts.? Thanks

You'd be better off using 7 quarts instead of 8. NEVER overfill an engine with oil.

Why not just use 7.7 quarts?

Disagree, 8 is fine. Dealers use 8too.

Agree. Dealer here uses 8 as well. I just changed mine a few days ago and put in 8.

Its only a 1/4 of a qt. more. Hell dont most 5.0s burn oil anyway? Its not going to detonate, youll be fine!

An extra 4.8 oz or 3.9% cannot possibly cause any issues.

Thanks for all the replies. I could not see a problem with 8 qts. and did not want to save a bottle with a few ounces of oil. cdru

It is better to under fill an engine with oil? hell save the money and just put one of those 5 qt jugs if that is the case. haha you are funny..

Put 8 quarts in and forget about it.
