Not if you suffered with an 04+ with the 5.4 connected to that 4 speed. I had 3.73's. Miserable slow revving bastard! I'd give anything to wipe those 7 years from my memory. The 5.0 is what I wanted 11 years ago, when I first heard it had 300 HP. Side note; the addition of the 6 speed was a game changer, and doesn't apply to my comments above.

I've had a 2003 screw 5.4 2V 3.73 gear,
A 2005 screw 5.4 2V 3.73 gear,
And a 2010 screw 5.4 3V 3.15 gear 6spd.
Bought all of them new. The 2005 was quick off the line but the 2010 was a highway monster with those gears.
Now the 2014 with the 5.0...that's altogether different. Much more power. It's not my old lightning but it's no slouch.
