We here at Stage 3 hate hunting around YouTube trying to find halfway decent exhaust sound clips for our 5.0L Truck. Some dude's video taken with an ancient cell phone just doesn't do it for us. So, we got together with some of the more popular 5.0L F150 exhaust manufacturers to get as many cat-back exhaust kits onto our truck as humanly possible and give you all an apples-to-apples comparison of some of the best-selling kits out there.


Our test vehicle for all of these videos is our F150 5.0L FX4 Project Truck, which is currently fitted with an aFe Stage 2 Cold Air Intake, BBK 85mm Power Plus Throttle Body, and a 91-Octane Custom Tune from 5-Star Tuning uploaded via an SCT Livewire Tuner and Dash Monitor. The truck is currently fitted with 18x9" XD Misfit wheels wrapped in 33.2" General Grabber tires.

These are the exhaust systems that's we've tested. We're also posting install guides as we go along, and we're planning on doing an "Ultimate" F150 5.0L cat-back video with all these kits after we're through.
